Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We had a very fruitful staff meeting today and are making great progress toward coming back to public Masses. Our goal is to become certified by the Diocese and start public Masses by Sunday, June 7! Certification is a very intricate process and we are really 2 parishes in one, so we need to consider both parishes (Anglo & Hispanic) throughout this entire process. This is why it is taking us so much longer to become certified. Your incredible and gracious patience has been extremely appreciated. Only a little while longer...
Our biggest priority at the moment is getting volunteers so we can open up! If you are willing to volunteer, please click here to let us know. There you will find a description of the volunteer roles, more information about volunteering, and a contact form to fill out. We are very excited to get back to public Masses so if you feel you can help in any way, please let us know! This is also part of our certification process, so the more volunteers we get, the better chance we can start the public Masses the weekend of June 6/7.
Once we have volunteers in place and trained, we will communicate to you the procedures required for attending Mass (required registration, dates & times, etc.) Keep an eye on your inbox for that email, hopefully by Wednesday, June 3.
Please keep in mind that all of this is fluid and ever-changing. We might need to adjust things as we go forward, but we have contingency plans for everything. Above all, keep praying and know that Christ is with us, ALWAYS!
