PREPARATION OF WOOD FOR CEILING - Four stages of prep. work - Rough Sanding with machine; Smooth Sanding by hand; Staining, Spraying; Polishing and Shining):
Beginning to work on the interior! Received the wood, it has been stained and will be hung on the ceiling. Light trunks have been painted, iron & bamboo scaffolding installed to hang wood on ceiling and light trunks.
The upper roof has been added and work continues on the rest of the roof!
The trusses (roof beams) are completed! The roof will go on next, followed by finishing touches and furnishings! Please continue to pray for the funding to help complete this project. Materials have gotten much more expensive due to the economic downturn caused by Britain's exit from the European Union.
Purlins placed on the Trusses
Raising the trusses for the roof
All of the trusses were raised manually, that is, without the use of a crane! Hard work, to be sure!
