Adults (and older teens) interested in becoming Catholic, in preparing to receive the sacraments of Holy Eucharist or Confirmation, or in learning more about the Catholic faith tradition, are invited to call the Pastoral Center at 815-455-5400, ext. 403.

The typical process for meeting these needs is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.). The  program year begins early September. Meetings will be held in the lower level of the Oak Street Church most Sunday mornings (after the 9:00 a.m. Mass), until about 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sacraments are conferred at the Easter Vigil Mass.
