Registration is now open for the 2010-2011 school year. Registration forms are available to download from the link below, or you may pick up a registration form at the Parish Office or the Oak Street Church.
Weekly classes are held for pre-schoolers through 6th grade on Tuesday & Wednesday from Mid-fall through April. Preparation for 1st Communion and 1st Reconciliation is also given under the direction of this department. To register for Religious Ed classes, you can either stop in at the Parish Center during weekdays or at the Oak St. Church office on Sunday mornings, or you can "click and print" the link below, and then mail it to the Parish Center.

These classes are for children in grades 3-6 who may need baptism, reconciliation, or communion, which were not made at the traditional grade level or age. These are "catch-up" classes for the families during the school year. This class meets selected Wednesdays between regular RE sessions (6:00 - 6:40 pm). |

Registration fee: $15.00 per family is payable with completed registration form.
Tuition: $90.00 per child with a maximum of $240.00 per family including children in the Youth Ministry department (7th grade and up).
Sacramental preparation fee: $30.00 per students who will be making First Reconciliation and First Communion during 2nd grade.
Late & Change fee: $5.00 per child for registering for classroom classes or making changes after September 1st.
Please note that financial arrangements can be made by calling the Religious Education office. No child will be denied Religious Education due to financial concerns. |

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a one week program that takes place mornings from 9:30 am to 11:30 am - June 14 through June 18, 2010. Children ages 4-11 are divided into age groups. This year's theme is "Explore Corinthians." Bible stories, games, snack, music are all coordinated to the theme of the site for that day. Please call the Religious Ed Dept. at 815-455-9037 before May 21 to register. Adult Helpers are needed, along with Youth Helpers (ages 12 and older).

Children's Liturgy of the Word |

Children's Liturgy of the Word or C.L.O.W: Children age 5 to First Communion reception age are dismissed from the 4:30 Saturday Mass after the opening prayer and return at the Offertory. No registration is required. All are welcome any Saturday. Volunteers are always welcome to assist as readers, leaders, cantors and ushers. To volunteer, call 815-455-9787 ext 407. |
