St. Thomas is having a block party! We want you to come, and we want you to invite your neighbors!
Why are we having a block party?
Jesus told us in the Gospel that we need to love our neighbor. We need to take Him literally. We want to know our neighbors in Crystal Lake, and we want them to know us. We want them to know that they are always welcome at St. Thomas. We want to be more present in the community, and what better way to get to know others than to invite them to a block party!
What is it?
On Saturday, August 27th at 6 PM we are holding a block party for the whole community! Join us at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. The evening will include live music with Ennie Hickman and Ike Ndolo, games, S’mores, cotton candy and more! Food trucks will be on site where you can purchase dinner or snacks! It really is a neighborhood block party.
Participating food trucks include Toasty Cheese, the Knights of Columbus Brat Mobile and Kona Ice.
Please join us!
St. Thomas wants to get to know our neighbors. And we want you to get to know us. Jesus told us to love our neighbors. Invite your neighbor and come spend a fun Saturday night at St. Thomas! All are welcome!
Bring a lawn chair and your own food (please no alcoholic beverages) or food will be available to purchase from the food trucks!
