Finding Christ in Prince Caspian - May 9, 2008

Join us for an evening exploring the Christian themes hidden throughout the movie.  For families, teens -- anyone who loves the  "Chronicles of Narnia".  Friday, May 9th, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the Community Center at Oak Street Church. Communal Anointing Mass - May 17, 2008

A special Mass will be held Saturday, May 17th at 10:30 am at the Oak Street Church.  This is intended for our homebound parishioners and nursing home residents who are able to be brought to our Church.  People who are struggling with serious health problems, difficult treatment, chronic illness, major surgery or an uncertain diagnosis are also encouraged to receive this wonderful Sacrament of Christ's healing and strength.  Mass will begin at 10:30 am followed with a light lunch.  Please register for this special Liturgy by calling the receptionist at the Parish Center at 815.455.5400 by May 13th.

Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ - May 24, 2008

Immediately after our 4:30 pm Mass on Saturday, May 24, we will have a special Eucharistic Procession at the Oak Street Church. We've invited our children who have just made their 1st Holy Communion to join us, dressed in their Communion outfits, in the Procession.  Call the Parish Center at 815.455.5400 for more information.

40^th Anniversary of Oak Street Church - June 8, 2008

Please join us at the Sunday 5:30 pm Mass to celebrate Oak St. Church 40th Anniversary and the beginning of 100 days of prayer for the Diocesan Centennial. Reception to follow.

Camp WOW -- 6th-8th grade students - June 19 - 22, 2008

Totus Tuus - July 13 - 18, 2008
